Dangal is the most watched Hindi language channel in U+R category since week 13 of 2019.[1][2][3] It is owned by Enterr10 Television Pvt. Ltd. Previously, Dangal was intened to be a Bhojpuri channel only. It topped the TRP charts in Bihar, Jharkhand & Uttar Pradesh in rural areas. Seeing its popularity it turned into general entertainment channel in Hindi. It started its journey with Sagar Picture's Jai Shri Krishna for the first time. Thereafter, the channel was stitched with same genre and trend.

Dangal started its journey in GEC space by broadcasting old shows of other channels, shows from channels like Colors, Imagine TV, Zee TV, Sahara One, etc.[4] The channel got its best viewership in 2018 with popular showcases.

The channel also created their original shows such as CIF, Crime Alert, Shiv Arjun: Ek Ichchadhari Ki Dastan, Bahurani, Kahaani Ek Raat Ki, Phir Laut Aayi Naagin, Pyaar Ki Luka Chuppi, Ek Anokhi Rakshak - Naagkanya, Devi Adi Parashakti, Alif Laila (2020 Series) & many more.
