Dale Smedsmo
Dale Darwin Smedsmo (born August 23, 1951 in Roseau, Minnesota) is a retired American professional ice hockey forward who played four games in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He would also play 110 games in the World Hockey Association with the New England Whalers, Cincinnati Stingers, and Indianapolis Racers. Smedsmo played college hockey at Bemidji State University for the Bemidji State Beavers. His stepson is Dustin Byfuglien, who currently plays for the Winnipeg Jets.
