DXDZ-TV

DXDZ-TV, channel 12, is a television station owned and operated by Philippine television network GMA Network Inc.. Its studios are located at the 2nd floor of Centro Mariano Building, Sergio Osmeña St., Cagayan de Oro City and the transmitter is located at Malasag Heights, Barangay Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City. In 2009, GMA Network launched GMA TV-12 Cagayan de Oro as its satellite station in Northern Mindanao after Bacolod, General Santos and Naga. The network invested PhP 200 million for the upgrade of the station's studios and facilities and was launched on January 23, 2013 (with the branding GMA Northern Mindanao) in time for the 2013 midterm elections.[1] On February 5, 2013, the frequency will be moved to Channel 35, together with the launch of the Cebuano-language newscast Testigo Northern Mindanao. GMA Channel 35 is the flagship station of GMA Northern Mindanao, with relay stations in Dipolog, Pagadian, Ozamiz and Bukidnon, as well as parts of Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Caraga region, Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, Southern Bohol, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi and Zamboanga Sibugay.[2] The station is currently inactive.

  • Northern Mindanao Isyu Karon (November 22, 2010 – February 4, 2013) - GMA Northern Mindanao's public affairs program (with simulcast since 2012 on Channel 35). The program ended on February 4 then it was replaced by the new program for the flagship regional newscast, "Testigo Northern Mindanao" when the frequency was moved to the said flagship station.
