Czarnkowo, Stargard County
Czarnkowo [t͡ʂarnˈkɔvɔ], (German: Zarnikow) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Marianowo, within Stargard County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Marianowo, 14 km (9 mi) east of Stargard, and 44 km (27 mi) east of the regional capital Szczecin.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration by the Potsdam Agreement under territorial changes demanded by the Soviet Union. Most Germans fled or were expelled and were replaced with Poles expelled from the Polish areas annexed by the Soviet Union.
