The municipality covers an area of 8.53 square kilometres (3.29 sq mi), and has a population of 725 (as at 3 July 2006).
Cetkovice lies approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Blansko, 43 km (27 mi) north of Brno, and 175 km (109 mi) east of Prague.[1]
