Byram Center, New Jersey

Byram Center is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Byram Township, in Sussex County, New Jersey, United States.[8][9][10] As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 90.[4]

According to the United States Census Bureau, Byram Center had a total area of 1.117 square miles (2.894 km2), all of which was land.[1][2]

Census 2010

The 2010 United States Census counted 90 people, 34 households, and 22.984 families in the CDP. The population density was 80.5 per square mile (31.1/km2). There were 40 housing units at an average density of 35.8 per square mile (13.8/km2). The racial makeup was 96.67% (87) White, 0.00% (0) Black or African American, 0.00% (0) Native American, 0.00% (0) Asian, 0.00% (0) Pacific Islander, 1.11% (1) from other races, and 2.22% (2) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.33% (3) of the population.[4]

Of the 34 households, 23.5% had children under the age of 18; 58.8% were married couples living together; 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present and 32.4% were non-families. Of all households, 26.5% were made up of individuals and 5.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.65 and the average family size was 3.22.[4]

20.0% of the population were under the age of 18, 8.9% from 18 to 24, 23.3% from 25 to 44, 40.0% from 45 to 64, and 7.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 44.0 years. For every 100 females, the population had 104.5 males. For every 100 females ages 18 and older there were 111.8 males.[4]
