Buturlinsky District

Buturlinsky District (Russian: Бутурли́нский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the forty in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia.[1] Municipally, it is incorporated as Buturlinsky Municipal District.[5] It is located in the southeastern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,105.2 square kilometers (426.7 sq mi).[1] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Buturlino.[1] Population: 14,471 (2010 Census);[2] 16,723(2002 Census);[7] 16,792(1989 Census).[8] The population of Buturlino accounts for 44.3% of the district's total population.[2]

History

The district was established in 1929.[1]

gollark: I feel mostly safe due to having been (partly, at least) vaccinated and being young enough to not be at significant risk anyway.
gollark: Governments have also recently rather liked doing/trying to do plausibly-deniable things which make end to end encryption impractical for people, so the objection of not being able to see or filter the content would probably not work very well.
gollark: Consider the difficulty of designing a working car versus trying to patch together a bad car after it's done while it's driving and incapable of stopping without exploding.
