Burckhalter, California
Burckhalter (also, Burkhalter) is a former settlement in Nevada County, California.[1] Burkhalter was located 2 miles (3.2 km) southeast of Boca.[1]

A post office operated at Burckhalter from 1891 to 1896.[1] The name commemorates Walter Burckhalter, the first postmaster.[1]
