Bulimoscilla is a genus of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusk in the family Pyramidellidae, the pyrams and their allies.[1]

In this case, the receiving git actually rewrites the received pack file to include any such referenced objects, so that any stored pack file is self-sufficient. This might be where the message "resolving deltas" originated.
