Bukit Brown MRT station

Bukit Brown MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle line, located in Novena planning area, Singapore. This station is currently non-operational due to the lack of development in the area. Being a shell station, its facilities are only used as emergency escape shafts. Jalan Mashhor serves the station facilities on ground level.

Bukit Brown station in Singapore

Bukit Brown station sits on the former Bukit Brown Cemetery and got its name from the nearby cemetery, named after George Henry Brown, the first owner of the land, and was used as a Chinese burial ground between 1922 and 1973.
