Blair Witch Volume II: The Legend of Coffin Rock received "mixed or average" reviews, according to review aggregator Metacritic.[1] In the United States, it sold 16,000 copies by October 2001.[13]

Daniel Erickson reviewed the PC version of the game for Next Generation, rating it two stars out of five, and stated that "Short yet painfully repetitive, even blasting ghosts isn't fun thanks to the wonky camera."[10]

The game went gold on October 17, 2000.[14]

gollark: You don't know that.
gollark: If you DID care about the google data gathering, you would in fact recognize that we consider that a valid reason to make our lives allegedly harder.
gollark: I don't think you're understanding the actual other side here.
