Belgium women's national basketball team

The Belgium women's national basketball team represents Belgium in international basketball competitions for women. Their first appearance in a major international tournament was in 1950, at the European Championship in Budapest. The team has participated in ten European Championship tournaments (including a best finish of 3rd place in 2017) but had not been present at World Championships or the Olympic Games until they qualified for the 2018 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup (where they finished in 4th place).[2]
