Bearwallow, North Carolina

Bearwallow is an unincorporated community in Henderson County, in the U.S. state of North Carolina.[1]

History

A post office called Bearwallow was established in 1858, and remained in operation until 1951.[2] The community derives its name from a bear wallow near the original town site.[3]
