Atiwa District

The Atiwa District is one of the twenty-one (21) districts of the Eastern Region of south Ghana. The capital is Kwabeng.[1]

History

Atiwa district was carved out of what is now the East Akim Municipal district in 2004 by the NPP Kufuor government.[1]
