Anthony Hernandez (fighter)
Anthony Hernandez (born 18 October 1993) is an American mixed martial artist currently competing as a Middleweight with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A professional since 2014, he has also competed with Global Knockout and Legacy Fighting Alliance.

Martial arts career
Amateur career
Anthony Hernandez made his amateur debut in 2010 during Ring of Fire 1, when he faced Michael Green Jr. He won the fight by unanimous decision.[2] This would be the first win of an eight fight winning streak, which ended in a chance to fight for the King of the Cage Amateur Middleweight title, against Justin Jones. Hernandez lost the fight by submission in the first round.[3]
Early career
In 2018, during LFA 32, he fought for the Legacy Fighting Alliance Middleweight title against Brendan Allen.[4] Hernandez won a unanimous decision.[5]
Fighting under the banner of Dana White's Contender Series, he faced Jordan Wright. Despite winning the fight in 40 seconds, the fight would be declared a no contest, as Hernandez tested positive for marijuana. He was penalized 15% of his purse and suspended for 6 months.[6]
Ultimate Fighting Championship
Anthony Hernandez made his UFC debut during UFC Fight Night: Assunção vs. Moraes 2 when he faced Markus Perez.[7] He lost in the second round, by anaconda choke.[8]
During UFC Fight Night: Andrade vs. Zhang he faced Jun Yong Park.[9] He won this fight by anaconda choke.[10]
He faced Kevin Holland during UFC on ESPN: Overeem vs. Harris.[11] He lost the fight after just 39 seconds, by TKO.[12]
