Anna Verouli

Anna Verouli (Greek: Άννα Βερούλη, born November 13, 1956) is a retired Greek javelin thrower. She was born in Kavala.[1]

She won the gold medal at the 1982 European Athletics Championships, and a bronze medal at the 1983 World Championships in Athletics.

Verouli was tested positive for nandrolone at the 1984 Summer Olympics and was banned from the competition.[2]

She was married to weightlifter Ioannis Tsintsaris.

gollark: The sum of these is somehow *substantially* less than the actual time it spends running. And I don't think anything randomly sits around yielding. Unless it does and I didn't notice.

gollark: You could probably implement a timeout on the HTTP requests. SPUDNET recently got long polling support, and it drops them if the remote end closes the connection or 30 seconds pass.
gollark: My build process now includes a *surprisingly functional* 7-year-old program seemingly intended for Roblox mods.
gollark: I made some significant speed improvements by cutting out unnecessary SHA256ing and maybe minifying, at least.
