On April 1, 2020 Jay made her first appearance in AEW on AEW Dynamite facing Hikaru Shida, losing by pinfall. On April 7, 2020 it was announced on Twitter that she had signed with the company[5] due to impressing many people despite being relatively new to the wrestling business.[6] On the June 17, 2020 episode of Dynamite, Jay returned to action but was defeated by Abadon. After the match, The Dark Order helped bringing her backstage. On the July 29 episode of Dynamite, Jay came out with the members of the Dark Order thus confirming her alliance with the group and establishing herself as a villainess.[7]Jay entered AEW Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw, teaming with Tay Conti the two having been drawn together. They would win their first match advancing to the semi finals after defeating Nyla Rose and Ariane Andrews on August 3rd with Jay scoring the pinfall on Andrew in the match, making this her first win in AEW.
