Towns that make up the local government are Mmiata Anam, Umuoba-Abegbu Anam, Umuenwelum Anam, Owelle, Oroma-Etiti, Umueze Anam, Umudora Anam, Umuikwu Anam, Onono Anam, Ukwalla, Inoma-Akator, Nzam, Igbedor and Iyiora Anam. The headquarters and the seat of government is Nzam.
