Critical reception
NME gave the single a positive review saying "Amarillo is a slow, yet euphoric song that finds Damon's reverb-laden voice evocatively recalling America's vast great interior. One of the more fully formed songs on the album, you get a vivid portrait of a songwriter from the British Isles getting his mind around one of the world's largest open spaces."[2]
gollark: Fear Lemmmy's predictive algorithms.
gollark: Lemmmy has an accursed spreadsheet fed by even more accursed NBT crawler tools which somehow determine total storage use.
gollark: The documentation CANNOT be trusted, and I know, I used kbps.
gollark: And clearly must store 44MiB of audio data, or 46MB.
gollark: They don't distinguish between raw data and audio data.
