Alexander Hall (soccer)

Alexander Noble Hall (3 December 1880 – 25 September 1943) was a Scottish amateur footballer who competed for Canada in the 1904 Summer Olympics. He then had a professional career in Scotland and England.

Hall was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and brought up in Peterhead. In 1904 he was a member of the Galt F.C. team that won the gold medal in the Summer Olympics football tournament. He played both matches as a forward and scored three goals in the first.

Hall died in Toronto, Canada, on 25 September 1943 and is buried in the city's Prospect Cemetery.[1]
