At Eurovision

Since Albania had come in 17th in the semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, Ora Boka was obliged to perform her song in one of the two semi-finals of the 2008 contest.[1] The EBU split up countries with a friendly voting history into the two different semi-finals, to give a better chance to other countries to win. On 28 January 2008, the EBU held a special draw which determined that Albania would be in the second semi-final, held on 22 May 2008.[2] performed 6th, following Lithuania and preceding the Switzerland. Albania qualified to the final, placing 9th in the semi-final and scoring 67 points.

In the final, she performed 3rd following United Kingdom and preceding Germany, finishing in 17th place with 55 points (including a maximum 12 from Macedonia).

For the 2008 contest the spokesperson for the Albania broadcast was Leon Menkshi.[3]
