Ala Singh
Maharaja Ala Singh (1691–1765) or Baba Ala Singh was the first Maharaja of the historical princely state of Patiala. He was born into a Jat Sidhu sikh family.[1][2] Previously he was Jathedar of Phulkian Misl. He was born in 1691 at Phul, in present-day Bathinda district of the Punjab.
