Al-Qaum

Al-Qaum (Arabic: القوم) was the Nabataean god of war and the night, and guardian of caravans.[1]

Large numbers of inscriptions bearing his name have been found, and archaeologists believe that he was a major god of the Nabataean pantheon.[1]

Al-Qaum however also literally translates to 'the people' in formal Arabic, it might just be referring to a group of people at the time as an entity.

A black metal band in Saudi Arabia, Al-Namrood, uses this pantheon as inspiration for its music.[2]

gollark: SPUDNET is potatOS's remote debugging/communications backend.
gollark: Maybe I should move SPUDNET and stuff to that domain instead of osmarks.tk.
gollark: Technically it's hosted on my servers, but I have a madefor.cc domain.
gollark: It was the first site on there!
