Akademeia High School

Akademeia High School is a private high school in Warsaw, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland. It has around a 60:100 teachers-to-students ratio, resulting in class sizes below 10. Classes are conducted exclusively in English. The three-year curriculum concludes with the English Baccalaureate, the A Level examinations.[2] Students select three or four A Level subjects out of a larger group of approximately twenty (plus obligatory Polish language for Polish Nationals).

It is an accredited UCAS centre, Edexcel (Pearson) and AQA examination centre for the English Baccalaureate. For students interested in applying to American universities, the school prepares a special SAT/ACT exam courses.

Akademeia High School started classes in a historic building located at Plac Trzech Krzyży for the first year (2016/2017) before moving to Miasteczko Wilanów for subsequent years.[3] The school building has won multiple prizes for its innovative and modern design.


Akademeia's A-level programme is divided into 6 departments: Natural Sciences, Humanities, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Creative & Performing Arts, and Modern Languages. [4] The school offers 5 grades, starting from Year 9 (US Grade 8), finishing at Year 13 (US Grade 12). [5][6]
