Acrolophus mycetophagus
Acrolophus mycetophagus (frilly grass tubeworm moth) is a moth of the family Acrolophidae. It was described by Davis in 1990. It is found in North America, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.[2]

The wingspan is 16–17 mm. The forewings are white with a band of dark scales across the median area. The hindwings are dark brownish-gray.[3]
The larvae are thought to feed on fungi.
