Acanthopidae

Acanthopidae is a family of mantises consisting of eight genera in the order Mantodea. The group was first formally split off as a separate family by the German entomologist Reinhard Ehrmann in 2002.[1] In 2016, five genera (Acontista, Callibia, Paratithrone, Raptrix, and Tithrone) were moved from Acanthopidae to the newly created family Acontistidae.[2]

gollark: I am currently writing "Rust" code, which is reasonable and not at all annoying.
gollark: Maybe try using unjava.
gollark: I "would" play, but waiting an entire 7 minutes for the pack to load exceeds my current annoyance thresholds for it.
gollark: I experience this sort of thing sometimes because computers fear me.
gollark: Well, first, take the finite list of all previous prime ministers. Then multiply them together and add one. This then produces the next prime minister, since by something something modular arithmetic, this new value cannot be divisible by previous prime ministers.
