Abdul Aziz Kurd
Abdul Aziz Kurd was an early leader of the Baloch nationalist movement in Balochistan. Along with Yousaf Aziz Magsi he founded the Anjuman-e-Ittehad-e-Balochan (Organisation for Unity of the Baloch) based in Mastung in 1920 as the first Baloch nationalist political party.
After the independence, Muhammad Ali Jinnah had sent letters to the Khan of Kalat and Abdul Aziz Kurd for asking their homeland Balochistan. Khan of Kalat said yes where as Mir Abdul Aziz Kurd didn't. He wanted a separate state for Baloch. He was infuriated when he got to know about Khan of Kalat's answer. It is because of Mir Abdul Aziz parties of baloch activists/nationalists are into being. [1][2]
