Associated Industries China, Inc. (Chinese: 偉聯科技股份有限公司; pinyin: wěi lián gǔfèn Yǒuxiàn Gōngsī, TWSE: 9912), known as AG Neovo, is a Taiwan-based multinational computer hardware and electronics company headquartered in Nangang District, Taipei, Taiwan. Main products include Computer monitor, digital signage, commercial display, large format display, surveillance display, and healthcare displays.
The company was established on May 18, 1978, engaged in steel Intermodal container. In 1999, it transitioned its business direction to the development of the electronic technology industry. In October of the same year, the company launched its owned brand - AG Neovo, with branch offices that cover Europe, Asia, and North America.[1] Its digital photo frame, desktop computer monitor were once awarded by IF Product Design Award and Taiwan Excellence Awards.[2][2][3]

Brand Name

AG Neovo, AG stands for an abbreviation of Aktiengesellschaft, which is a German term for a public limited company. Neovo is composed by the inspiration and evolution from Greek Neo and Vo, meaning a new company with a new vision to provide new visual products.

History

  • 1978, founded in Taiwan, Taipei, was producing steel Intermodal container as the revenue sources.
  • 1992, Associated Industries China, Inc. is listing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange under the ticker code 9912.
  • 1999, launched its own brand name AG Neovo in October.
  • 2000, changed the company's business direction to the Hi-Tech industry.  At the beginning, the business covered both computer monitor OEM and AG Neovo Owned-brand products sales and marketing.
  • 2003, withdrew OEM business, focusing on owned brand business. The product line includes computer monitors, digital photo frames, large format displays, surveillance displays and digital signage display products.
  • 2014, set up the Healthcare business unit. Product line includes dental handpieces and portable dental units.
  • 2017, set up the Solutions business unit. Product lines include cloud-based digital signage solution, interactive flat panel displays and display management software.[4]
