Ağdam, Khojavend
Ağdam (Armenian: Հակակու, Hakaku; also, Akaku, Gak, and Hkakou) is a village in the Khojavend Rayon of Azerbaijan and Hadrut Province of the Republic of Artsakh (formerly the Nagorno-Karabkh Republic). During the Nagorno-Karabakh War, the village was occupied by the Armenian Army in 1993. In 2008 a new school was built by the Nagorno-Karabkh Republic.
