2020 Old Dominion Monarchs football team

The 2020 Old Dominion Monarchs football team represented Old Dominion University in the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season until the cancellation of the 2020 season on August 10, 2020.[1] The Monarchs would had played their home games at S.B. Ballard Stadium in Norfolk, Virginia and competed in the East Division of Conference USA (CUSA). They would had been coached by first-year head coach Ricky Rahne.

Previous season

The Monarchs finished the 2019 regular season 1–11, 0–8 in CUSA which they placed last (7th place) in the East division. They were not invited to play in any post season bowl game. Bobby Wilder resigned in December 2019, two days after losing to Charlotte.[2]

Schedule

Old Dominion announced its 2020 football schedule on January 8, 2020.[3] The 2020 schedule consisted of 7 home and 5 away games in the regular season. On August 10, 2020, Old Dominion University announced the cancellation of the football season due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.[1][4] The following schedule below was the set schedule for the 2020 season.
