Svetlana also reached the doubles final, teamed with her former partner Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario, who came partly out of retirement this year to play doubles in a few tourneys. But Svetlana and Arantxa were defeated by Anastasia Myskina & Ai Sugiyama 6-3, 7-5.
