- November 16, 1999: Izzy Molina was signed as a free agent by the Royals.[1]
- December 10, 1999: Doug Bochtler was signed as a Free Agent with the Kansas City Royals.[2]
- December 17, 1999: Scott Service was released by the Royals.[3]
- January 27, 2000: Ricky Bottalico was signed as a free agent by the Royals.[4]
- March 7, 2000: Gregg Zaun was sent to the Royals by the Detroit Tigers as part of a conditional deal.[5]
