2000 Georgia Southern Eagles football team
The 2000 Georgia Southern Eagles football team represented the Georgia Southern Eagles of Georgia Southern University during the 2000 NCAA Division I-AA football season.[1] The team played their home games at Paulson Stadium in Statesboro, Georgia, and were coached by Paul Johnson, in his fourth year as head coach. The Eagles won their second consecutive, and sixth overall, I-AA title by defeating Montana in the 2000 NCAA Division I-AA Football Championship Game.
