1988 Eastwood District Council election
Elections for the Eastwood District Council took place on Thursday 5 May 1988, alongside elections to the councils of Scotland's various other districts.
The Conservatives continued their dominance of the council, winning 49% of the vote and two thirds of the Districts seats.[1]

gollark: I think cryptocurrency with proof of work is impressive in how it manages to make people burn vast amounts of resources on slightly reallocating mining reward, and scalpers are just people exploiting retailers' incorrect unwillingness to raise prices.
