1987 South Carolina Gamecocks football team

The 1987 South Carolina Gamecocks football team represented the University of South Carolina as an independent team in the 1987 NCAA Division I-A football season. They finished with eight wins and four losses (8–4) and with a loss against LSU in the 1987 Gator Bowl. The Gamecocks were led by head coach Joe Morrison.
