The United States Senate election of 1972 in Massachusetts was held on November 7, 1972 with the incumbent Republican Senator Edward Brooke defeating his challengers. As of 2020, this is the last time the Republicans have won the Class 2 U.S. Senate seat in Massachusetts and the last time a Republican won a full U.S. Senate term in the state.
