- June 3, 1952: Walt Dropo, Fred Hatfield, Don Lenhardt, Johnny Pesky, and Bill Wight were traded by the Red Sox to the Detroit Tigers for Dizzy Trout, George Kell, Johnny Lipon, and Hoot Evers.[1]
