In their 13th season under head coach Lou Little, the Lions compiled a 3–6 record, and were outscored 193 to 169 by opponents. The team's captains were Felix E. Demartini and Paul V. Governali.[1]

Ken Germann led the team in scoring, with 60 points (six touchdowns).[2] Paul Governali led in total offense, with 1,610 yards (1,442 passing, 168 rushing).[3]

Columbia played its home games at Baker Field in Upper Manhattan, in New York City.
