1937 International University Games
The 1937 International University Games were organised by the Confederation Internationale des Etudiants (CIE) and held in Paris, France. Held from 21–29 August, 22 nations competed in fourteen sports. Boxing, cycling, field hockey, handball, and shooting all made their first appearance at the games. The gymnastics competition was dropped, however, and did not appear again until 1961. This tournament marked the first appearance of a South American nation, in the form of Brazil.[1]

gollark: A desktop is portable, just glue a car battery and 23" monitor to the side.
gollark: Unfortunately, they cost a lot (the M1 is very much not optimized for cost, and Apple like charging lots), run MacOS, and cannot be repaired.
gollark: As well as good power efficiency they also have possibly the best single-threaded performance of any mobile thing.
gollark: The new ones have rather good GPUs, too.
gollark: Well, the M1 is currently the most efficient CPU, as far as I know.
