Game notes
- Result of game was disputed by Coleman's Homer Davidson. The umpire, a Canton resident, ruled Davidson's field goal a miss. Meanwhile Davidson and Coleman claimed he made the field goal that the game should have ended in a 9–7 Coleman victory.
- Thanksgiving Day game
- Akron played an earlier game in scoreless tie against the Shelby Blues in Shelby.
