1908 Dominion Championship
The 1908 Dominion Championship was a Canadian football game that was played on November 28, 1908, between the Hamilton Tigers and the University of Toronto Varsity Blues, that determined the Senior Rugby Football champion of Canada.[2] The Interprovincial Rugby Football Union champion Tigers defeated the Canadian Intercollegiate Rugby Football Union champion Varsity Blues 21–17 to claim their second Dominion Championship.[3] This was the last Dominion Championship played before the establishment of the Grey Cup trophy for the 1909 Dominion Championship game.[4]
