The municipality covers an area of 2.73 square kilometres (1.05 sq mi), and has a population of 1,441 (as at 28 August 2006).
Černčice lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of Louny, 36 km (22 mi) south-west of Ústí nad Labem, and 52 km (32 mi) north-west of Prague.
