Statue of Mangobey Cartshank

The Statue of Mangobey Cartshank was a monument to the founder of Great Glade's Copperwood district, located in the centre of Mangobey Cartshank Square, near the hiring posts. He was shown with a thick beard and glaring eyes. In The Immortals, when Nate Quarter and Slip were looking for work, a slaughterer fisherman directed them to the square's hiring posts, instructing them to use the statue as a landmark.[1]

When Nate and his friends were forced to flee Great Glade after he is framed for the murder of Friston Drew, they slipped past a ground of Cloddertrog Constables who were distracted by mugs of oaktea. Nate noticed a wanted poster tied to the base of the statue displaying the names of the the four members of the Copperwood Gang.[2]
