Flux Cartius

Flux Cartius was a renowned architect in early Sanctaphrax. He designed many buildings, but his most famous was the Hall of High Cloud in the Knights Academy. It was a huge lecture theatre, egg-shaped so that the speakers' voices could be heard anywhere in the room due to the echoes. The lower walls curved inwards to form a bowl, while the upper half was a massive glass dome, constructed from early Sanctaphrax's finest crystal and slender beams of curved leadwood. Since the Knights Academy was one of the first buildings on Sanctaphrax, it is likely that Cartius lived at the same time as Quode Quanx-Querix. [1]
