Battle of the Great Sky Whale

The Battle of the Great Sky Whale was a massive sky ship battle between the sky pirates and the league ship, the Great Sky Whale. High Leaguesmaster Marl Mankroyd had done a deal with the glintergoblins of the Northern Mines, and was using the Great Sky Whale to transport a cargo of treasure. The sky pirates attacked the ship, stole the treasure, and liberated the slaves keeping the ship's four flight-rocks warm, causing the Great Sky Whale to hurtle into Open Sky. The crew of the Galerider, especially Quint and Wind Jackal, were the heroes of the battle, remaining aboard the Great Sky Whale long after all the other captains had retreated or scuppered their ships and securing a valuable cargo of black-diamonds.
