Barkwater family
Barkwater was the surname of a fourthling family who rose to power in the Free Glades during the Third Age of Flight.
Family History
The first known siblings in the Barkwater family were brother Tem and Cal. At a young age they were both captured and used as bait for bloodoak trees. One day Cal escaped and married Noll Barkwater. Tem went on to be a sky pirate under captain Wind Jackal and Captain Cloud Wolf. Cal and Noll's child was named Shem, who married Keris Verginix, daughter of Twig Verginix and Sinew Verginix. Keris and Shem's child was called Rook Barkwater. Who the Rook Saga was based around. Hundreds of years later we also see Nate Quarter, whose last name is a corruption of Barkwater, who the Nate Saga was based around. And Cade Quarter, who the Cade Saga is based around.
