How to setup Windows XP on Dell Latitude E6400?
I have a brand new DELL lap top and it says that there is not OS installed on it, so I though I am going to try to install XP but it comes to some point and then an error appears: A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer..
What could be the problem?

When you buy the laptop were there no OS on it? Which model if Dell because most laptops are coming with preinstalled Windows 7. And you can go to BIOS setting and then change the disk mode to AHCI then it will he able to insatll the Windows XP. – avirk – 2012-05-28T15:36:28.417
