I used qperf to measure tcp latency between aws instances but it provides results with huge variation in different times. With qperf I sent 1KB tcp packets to measure the latency and I run the test for 30 minutes. In the first time it provides tcp latency between two c4xlarge instances as 29 microseconds and the second time I run the test it provides the latency as 66 microseconds. What could be the reason for this deviation? What are the other tools that I can used to measure tcp latency between two aws hosts?
