Jeremy Sherr
Jeremy Sherr (1955–) is a South African-born homeopath, self-published author and kook best known for pretending that magic sugar pills homeopathy can cure AIDS.
Sherr studied Homeopathy at the College of Homoeopathy in London in 1980. He also studied Acupuncture at the International College of Oriental Medicine (apparently without noticing that the theories and disease models of homeopathy and acupuncture are mutually exclusive). He founded the "Dynamis School", a "post-graduate homeopathy course" (i.e. diploma mill) in 1987. He began study and research in homeopathic provings in 1982 with a proving of Scorpion, apparently. It's unclear how this was done since the traditional Hahnemann method of proving involves giving people a dose strong enough to cause tangible symptoms. With scorpion? Good luck with that.
He's been compared with AIDS denialist quack Matthias Rath[note 1]. Need we say more.

Notes
- Rath sued Ben Goldacre for calling him a quack and lost.
