Normally, leaves behave like non-opaque blocks. However, in older versions, they can be made to behave like solid blocks by editing the game settings.
Obtaining
From Infdev 20100616-1808 to Beta 1.5_01, simply changing the graphics to "Fast" caused the leaves to behave like solid blocks. All data values from 0 to 15 can be obtained by updating sheets prior to Beta 1.2.
